Smart applications have made it very easy for us to find and contextualize information in our daily personal lives. To address challenges in the biopharmaceutical industry, from errors during planning, to deviations and the demand to increase production capacities, digital technologies are making their way into bioprocessing.

Using HakoBio, Pall Biotech accompanies its customers in the design and implementation of biomanufacturing facilities. In the case of Servier Industries, the tool was used to anticipate footprint issues and define specific room configurations.

HakoBio allowed Pall and Servier to create the digital twin of the future facility, visualize it using 3D and virtual reality and optimize the process and its configurations. By using the tubing simulation application with HakoBio, they were also able to anticipate interconnection issues between equipment and plan them efficiently to optimize operator workflows.
